Description

Three 7th grade students will be presented who initially were evaluated with intelligibility below 25%. After evaluation, a plan for therapy was developed using the SATPAC Approach. Using this highly systematic program with multiple repetitions of their various target sounds yielded significant results with all three students becoming 80%+ intelligible.

Final Questions and Evaluation

Description

Highly unintelligible children often do not follow the normal developmental path that children who speak normally do. Pam Marshalla developed the 7 stages of phoneme development for normal speech development. Each step is clearly presented through Pam’s recorded examples and suggestions are given on how to foster the development of those skills for each of the 7 steps.
